Comic puzzle

Yesterday i told you my moms tradition with christmas and new year is making/solving puzzle.
Most of the time she makes puzzles with mountains and trees but these year she solvet a comic puzzle like this one.Have a nice weekend.

Made me think of you

The prompt of this week is about: made me think of you.
When i read this sense i had to think on the tradition of my mother. Every christmas she make a puzzle with a 1000 pieces. Most of the time a landscape of the mountains and a lake. Only this year she make a puzzle with comic, the drawer is Jan van Haasteren.










This year we took the same tradition and make our first puzzle with 500 and 750 pieces. It's was fun to do.
I'll show you tomorrow a picture of our puzzle.

Merry Christmas

Decoration tip 3

Over a couple of days it christmas and when you look in your home and there's something missing for decoration with this tip you make very easy a lovely decoration.













Take a canvas (10"x10"), paint, shape of a christmas tree and some buttons.
Paint the canvas with colour of paint you like. Draw your christmas tree on canvas. Take your buttons sew them around your christmas tree. And there you have your tree of buttons.
And other way is cross stitch around the shape of the tree.













Very easy to do and a lovely decoration.

Deck of me week 50

I make mine card for the prompt of this week: the greatest gift.
I realize that the greatest gift at this moment for being healthty. At this moment i'm feeling well only i know when there is a lot of stress i can be sick again.

An other great gift in my life are my hummy and my little boy. They give colour to me days when i feeling when a little of my sickness is coming back. But we are trying to look at the bright side of life.

Christmas tree

This evening have set up the tree and the candle ends and the balls in done. In fact the balls have done Adne. Hence that the tree more beautiful is than previous year. Thank you Adne for your help.
He also ask me
He has me also in demand or now to let the chrismastrain will drive. I have told if it is the evening for christmas let we christmastrain drive.
We ask is uncle Thijs to help Adne to let the train drive. So uncle Thijs we have a job for you.

week 49

Sorry for the late posting but i've a little bit to busy at work. This week the students have results of test and next week their have report for the Chritmas holidays.

I have finished my card. At making the card I had think how fast the time does go in fact. 18th January this year I became sick and just in October I could say really like and feel live is caming back to me. And now in December it is almost a year ago. Time flies before you know a nother year is over.

I also realize that this challenge is also almost over. I'm looking forward to the next challenge of Emily and from the It's a creative world.

december decoration tip 2

The second tip for this month is this beautiful skate.
What you need:
* piece of cardboard
* 5 inch square piece of fabric
* sewing machine
* large paper clip
* polyester fiberfill

Draw a shape of a skate on the cardboard and cute it out.
Fold the fabric so that you trace 2 skates in one time.
Cut it out.
Machine sew through both layers of fabric on the traced lines, leaving a straight edge unstitched.
Fill the skate wiht fiberfill and make a hanging loop. Hand-sew trim arount the top of the skate.
Slide a paper clip into the skate at the bottom fold of the blade. If necessary, make a tiny opening with a siccors tip to insert the paper clip.
There you have a little skate.

Kit from De-Creatie

This morning the kit of the de-creatie arrived. It was a surprise for my.
They put a lot of nice stuff. Like the newest thing of Tim Holtz : Crackle Paint and a great sheet of stamps. The stamps are awesome. I hope that i have tomorrow time to make a lo with this new kit.

december decoration tip

This month i will give decoration tip.
The first tip is make your own little lovely tree.

You need pattern paper, straight- and decorative-edge siccors, adhesive.
Draw 5-, 4- and 3-1/5 inch circles, and cut each out with straight-edge siccors.
Then cut a slit to the center on each circle, using straigh-edge siccors.
Trim around each circle using the decorative-edge siccors. Leaving a small opening in the top, wrap each circle into a cone shape and glue it together.
And there you have your little tree.
Decorate it with little circles (it look like little ornaments) or other lovely things.
Have fun making this little tree.

week 48

i love the prompt of this week: ideas.




Most of my ideas arise when i starting falling to sleep. That's why i've a notebook under my pillow. My hummy laugh at me when i starting writing down my ideas. He tell me "honey please go to sleep, you will remember it in the morning when it's a great idea". After a night sleep i don't remember my great idea.
I think that a lot scrappers has this problem.
